Question 1

Do I need a credit card to start?

Accepted Answer

No. The 14-day trial starts when you create an account and asks for nothing else. You only enter payment details if you decide to keep going.

Question 2

What happens when the trial ends?

Accepted Answer

Your data stays exactly where it is. You can still sign in, read every list you built, and mark items grabbed or packed. Adding and editing stops until you subscribe, and resumes the moment you do. Nothing is deleted for missing a payment.

Question 3

Is this per person or per household?

Accepted Answer

Per person, with free viewers. One subscription covers one person building and editing the plan. The people you invite see the whole list and can mark items grabbed or packed without paying. A second person who wants to add and edit items subscribes for their own seat.

Question 4

Can I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Any time, from the billing portal in your settings. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Question 5

Why is there a storage limit?

Accepted Answer

Photos are the expensive part, and a photo of every item in a house adds up. Household includes 5 GB of photos, Household Plus includes 30 GB of photos, and extra storage is available in 10 GB blocks, at $19.95 a year or $1.99 a month per block.

Question 6

What is the difference between the two plans?

Accepted Answer

Only storage. Every feature is in both plans — Household Plus exists for people photographing a whole home rather than a shortlist.
